From Spitting Image to Stand-Up Royalty
With a career that spans decades, Parsons rose through the ranks of British comedy from his writing days on Weekending and the original Spitting Image, to becoming a regular on Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo, and his own long-running Radio 2 series. Now one of the UK’s most experienced and insightful comics, his new show confronts the absurdities of 2025 head-on, calling for a one-way ticket to Mars for the likes of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and others.
Expect Parsons’ trademark mix of intelligent observation, biting satire, and laugh-out-loud delivery that has earned him accolades from Time Out, Just For Laughs, and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. As The Guardian puts it: “Parsons remains one of comedy’s most skilful exponents.”
Life Is Hard. Come and Have a Laugh About It.
After a critically acclaimed 2023/24 tour that played to packed venues nationwide, Parsons returns sharper than ever. As seen on Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, and his 2025 NextUp Comedy special, this new show takes no prisoners.
