Castle Quay in Banbury will host a one-day community pop-up later this month aimed at raising funds for families across North Oxfordshire.

The “Gifts Reimagined” event takes place on Wednesday 18 February from 11am to 3pm, with 100% of proceeds going to The Sunshine Centre, a Banbury-based charity that supports local families through advice, early years activities and practical help.

The event follows a recent donation drive where members of the public contributed new and pre-loved gift items. These have now been sorted and prepared for resale — giving shoppers the chance to pick up affordable gifts while directly supporting a local cause.

Organisers say the pop-up is designed to bring the community together, promote reuse and sustainability, and help families at a time when many continue to feel cost-of-living pressures.

Liz Swift, Retail Liaison Manager at Castle Quay, said:

“It’s a wonderful way to give these items a second life while raising crucial funds for The Sunshine Centre, which does so much for families in our area.”
