Fifty runners have raised more than £12,000 for Mulberry Bush at the Oxford Half Marathon, the charity has announced.
The team took part in the 13.1-mile race on Sunday 11 October 2026, with supporters cheering them on from a charity cheer point at mile four. Mulberry Bush said donations were still coming in when it announced the total.
The charity, which runs a therapeutic residential school in Standlake, supports people affected by emotional pain and trauma. Its runners came from across the local community.

Felicity Simmons, Mulberry Bush’s fundraising and events executive, said: “The Oxford Half Marathon was a wonderful day, filled with enthusiasm and support!”
She thanked the runners for their hard work and dedication, saying their fundraising would contribute to the charity’s support for people affected by emotional pain.
80 charity places planned for 2027
Mulberry Bush said the Oxford Half was becoming a regular part of its fundraising calendar, with growing interest from local runners. It has increased its allocation to 80 places for next year’s event in response to demand.
The 2027 Oxford Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 10 October.
