Voices from the day

Lynne Hammond, Woodstock:

“This year marks our 10th year taking part in the OX5 RUN, which we first joined when our daughter Eliza was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts… The care, expertise and kindness we’ve received have been truly exceptional, and taking part is our way of giving something back… Every year, we’re joined by friends and family to run, walk, and cheer together — and it’s always such a special day.”

Claire Hughes, Events Co-ordinator, Oxford Hospitals Charity:

“We’re calling upon people in the Oxford community to join us at the OX5 RUN… it welcomes participants of all abilities. Some people come to race for a personal best, while others choose to walk the route and enjoy the stunning surroundings of Blenheim Palace.”
