Extra recycling and food waste

  • Extra recycling: place wrapping paper and cards (no foil) beside your blue bin in a clear bag.
  • Small electricals: put items such as broken fairy lights in a clear bag on top of your food bin for collection.
  • Food waste: put all leftover Christmas food in your food caddy. Used cooking oil can go in a sealed plastic bottle inside the caddy.

Household Waste Recycling Centres

HWRCs are operated by Oxfordshire County Council; festive opening hours vary. Please check the Oxfordshire County Council website for up-to-date information.
