BAFTA-winning comedian, writer and actor Tom Davis is hitting the road again with his brand-new 2026 stand-up tour ‘Spudgun’, and Oxfordshire fans are in for a treat when he arrives at the Oxford New Theatre on Thursday 9th April 2026.
From building sites to the big screen, Davis’s journey is the stuff of underdog legend. Before his breakout success, the South Londoner worked as a scaffolder, bouncer, and market trader, until a homemade sketch tape landed him on Bo’ Selecta. The rest, as they say, is comedy history.
Best known for his roles in King Gary, The Curse, and for playing DI Sleet in the BBC Three hit Murder in Successville,, Davis brings his larger-than-life energy and sharp observational humour to the stage in what promises to be a fully loaded evening of laughs.
As well as his stand-up, Davis’s screen credits include Wonka, Paddington 2, Live at the Apollo, and co-hosting the hit podcast Wolf and Owl with Romesh Ranganathan, cementing Davis’s status as one of Britain’s top-tier comedy talents.
Whether he’s playing a suburban dad in King Gary or riffing on stage, Davis brings undeniable warmth and wit to every performance.
