Music fans in Oxfordshire looking for a standout summer experience won’t need to travel far this August, as iconic acts Texas and the Pet Shop Boys are set to headline two open-air concerts at Warwick Castle, just over an hour from Oxford.

The historic venue will welcome thousands for Warwick Castle Live 2025, with Scottish pop-rock legends Texas performing on Friday 29th August, followed by electronic pop pioneers Pet Shop Boys on Saturday 30th August.

Both shows are part of a growing concert series turning the 1,100-year-old Warwick Castle into a summer hotspot for live music.

Two Nights of Nostalgia and Pop Power

Texas, fronted by Sharleen Spiteri, will take audiences through 40 years of hits—from early chart-topper I Don’t Want A Lover to feel-good favourites Inner Smile, Say What You Want, and Summer Son. The band has sold over 40 million albums and remains a fixture on UK airwaves.

On Saturday, the Pet Shop Boys will bring their acclaimed Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live show to the castle grounds. The show features synth-pop anthems like West End Girls, Go West, and Always on My Mind. With over 50 million records sold, the duo is officially the most successful UK musical duo of all time.

Their latest tour has already wowed crowds across Europe and the Americas, with Warwick Castle one of only a few historic venues to host the spectacular.
