Bershka will open its first Oxfordshire store at Westgate Oxford at 10am on Thursday 29 October 2026, the shopping centre has confirmed.
The fashion retailer will occupy an 11,000 sq ft unit on the Upper Ground floor, next to H&M and Urban Outfitters, selling womenswear, menswear, its BSK teen range, footwear and accessories.
The opening date follows the announcement in June that Bershka would be joining Westgate, when the centre said the shop would arrive later in the year.
For Oxfordshire shoppers, the opening will provide a local place to browse and try on the brand’s collections rather than ordering online or travelling outside the county.

What will the new Bershka store sell?
The Oxford shop will have three main clothing sections. Bershka’s womenswear range will include everyday and occasion pieces, while BSK is aimed at teenagers. The menswear section will offer casual clothing, wardrobe basics and other seasonal pieces.
Footwear and accessories will also be available, with Westgate’s online preview highlighting denim, dresses, tops and knitwear among the collections shoppers can expect.
The centre says the store will follow Bershka’s latest international design, with different rooms organised around clothing concepts, two payment areas and a large fitting-room area.
Bershka was founded in 1998 and is part of Inditex, the Spanish fashion group that also owns Zara. Its clothing is aimed primarily at younger shoppers.
Opening follows requests from Westgate shoppers
Clare Martin, centre director at Westgate Oxford, said customers had been asking when the store would open since its arrival was first announced.
“Bershka has been a hotly-anticipated brand here at Westgate Oxford, and our guests have been excitedly asking for an opening date since we revealed it’d be joining the centre.
“We’re pleased to confirm the store will officially open its doors on 29th October, and we look forward to welcoming another excellent, globally-renowned brand to our retail mix.”
The confirmed 10am start is for opening day. The announcement does not set out the shop’s regular weekly trading hours, so visitors planning a later trip should check with the centre.
Gift-card draw to mark the opening
Westgate is also advertising a separate prize draw for a £1,000 Bershka gift card, closing at 11.59pm on Thursday 29 October 2026.
The draw is open to eligible UK residents aged 18 and over, with no purchase required. Entry involves joining the centre’s PLUS+ membership scheme and completing the competition form. Existing members must also complete the form.
There will be one winner, who must collect the prize in person from Westgate with photo identification. The entry process includes agreeing to marketing communications, so readers should check the full terms, eligibility exclusions and data-use conditions. The form is available on Westgate’s Bershka opening page.
