What to expect from Looking for Trouble

Looking for Trouble explores the way people assemble a life and imagine different versions of themselves. Moran’s stage work moves through personal observations and wider reflections, rather than recreating the television character that first introduced him to many viewers.

Black Books, which Moran co-created and starred in, remains a familiar reference point for audiences. His stand-up career also includes an Edinburgh Perrier Award and extensive international touring.

The 2027 itinerary includes Crewe and Salford before Oxford, followed by Ipswich and Norwich. Further dates continue through May, including a London run at Alexandra Palace.

Readers planning a visit should use the Oxford booking page for the current seat options and any venue-specific guidance.

Planning your visit

The New Theatre is on George Street in central Oxford. Check the seat location when booking, particularly if you need step-free access or space for a wheelchair. The venue’s booking and access information explains the available arrangements.
