Orchard Centre has lined up a half-term mix of film fun, crafts and seasonal snacks for families next week, from £2 family screenings at Cineworld to pumpkin carving at Berro Lounge and spooky bakes from M&S.
“Keeping kids entertained over half term can be a challenge,” said Dean Inwood, centre director. “It’s great to have a mix of things on offer for families to enjoy — from cinema trips to Halloween treats — so everyone can make the most of a day out at the centre.”

Halloween films at Cineworld
Get into the spirit with big-screen favourites — ParaNorman, Twilight and A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 are among the titles featured. Families can also catch returning favourites for £2 per ticket with Cineworld’s Family Film offer. Check listings and certificates before you go.
Halloween treats from M&S
Stock up for trick-or-treat night with themed biscuits, chocolates and sweets. Fancy baking? Pick up Build Your Own Chocolate Haunted House or Make Your Own Monster Cupcakes kits for an at-home activity.
Pumpkin carving at Berro Lounge — Sun 26 Oct, 4pm
Get hands-on with Pumpkin and a Pint. For £10 (booking required) you’ll get any pint of draught (18+) or two soft/hot drinks, plus a pumpkin to carve. Families welcome — under-16s must be with an adult. Book directly with the venue by phone or email.
