A new Pip and Posy-inspired treehouse and activity trail has opened at Blenheim Palace, giving young visitors another reason to explore Adventure Play this summer.
The trail brings the popular pre-school characters to life through imaginative play, with children asked to help solve the mystery of Pip’s missing toy, Piggy.
Little explorers can follow a series of playful actions and challenges through Adventure Play before reaching the new treehouse, where Piggy is waiting with a new friend.
The experience is included with a valid Palace and Play Pass, or Adventure Play access bought alongside a valid Blenheim Palace ticket.
What is Pip and Posy’s Treehouse Trail?
The new trail is inspired by Pip and Posy’s Treehouse Mystery and has been designed for younger children and families.
Along the way, children can complete activities including puddle-jumping, whizzing down zip-lines, hunting for Pip and Posy’s mini friends in the Secret Garden and playing a bug-racing board game in the Boathouse.
The route ends at the new treehouse, where families can continue the adventure through imaginative play.
Blenheim Palace says visitors can also take a photo with Becca, a new 3D character installation from the Pip and Posy series.
Inside the new treehouse
The treehouse has been created as a playful space for young children to explore, with areas designed to encourage storytelling, curiosity and make-believe.
Features include a cosy nook with cushions, a large wooden chair and decorative drawings featuring Pip and Posy characters.
There is also a new seating area beneath a shaded pergola, giving families a place to pause for snacks, drinks and a breather between activities.
Nature-themed bunting and woodland-style decorative touches help connect the new area with the wider Adventure Play setting.

More to do in Adventure Play
The new treehouse trail sits within Blenheim Palace’s Adventure Play, the large outdoor play area in the Walled Garden.
Children can climb nets, explore giant carrots, speed down slides, crawl through tunnels, cross bridges, try zip-lines and splash through the Winding River during warm weather.
The area is designed for a wide range of ages, with a dedicated toddler zone for younger visitors.
That makes the new Pip and Posy trail part of a bigger family day out rather than a standalone activity.

Families visiting Blenheim Palace between 25 June and 1 September can take advantage of reduced admission prices through the Great British Summer Savings scheme.
Blenheim Palace says it is passing on the full Summer VAT Saving across entry ticket types during the eligible period.

How the ticket works
Families who want to visit the new Pip and Posy trail should make sure their ticket includes Adventure Play.
The Palace and Play Pass includes entry to Blenheim Palace, Park, Gardens and Adventure Play for 12 months.
Visitors buying a single Adventure Play day ticket should note Blenheim’s guidance that this must be used alongside a valid pass or day ticket.
The new trail is not listed as a separate paid add-on, but access depends on having the correct Adventure Play admission.
Why it works as a summer family day out
The new trail gives younger children a simple story to follow while they explore the play area.
For parents and carers, that structure can be helpful. Rather than simply arriving at a large outdoor playground, children are given a mission: find Piggy, complete the challenges and discover the treehouse.
The mix of character play, physical activity and quieter treehouse moments should make it especially appealing to families with pre-school and early primary-age children.
It also adds to Blenheim Palace’s wider summer family programme, which includes Adventure Play, the Walled Garden, the Marlborough Maze, Butterfly House, Rowse Honey Hive, Marlborough Mini Farm and seasonal activities across the estate.

What to check before booking
Families should check the official Blenheim Palace website before travelling, particularly for live ticket prices, Adventure Play availability, parking, food options and any changes to opening times.
Because Adventure Play is an outdoor attraction, suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are sensible.
On hot days, the shaded pergola and seating area will be useful for snack and hydration breaks, but families should still bring water and plan rest stops.
During wet weather, some parts of Adventure Play may be slippery, so visitors should follow any on-site guidance from staff.
