When the invite came in offering a chance to taste-test the sweet treats at the new Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate bar at Bicester Village, as you can imagine there were plenty of volunteers, luckily we won the toss.
The chocolate bar is situated right outside the Lindt shop in Bicester Village, making it even more irresistible to walk past. So to legitimately visit was welcome.
We opted for early evening, preferring the chocolate selection to what was planned for dinner! We both had Belgium waffle smothered in chocolate, with a swirl of white/milk chocolate ice cream, topped with hazelnut sauce.
My companion wanted an extra chocolate shot, and chose a blood orange flavoured hot chocolate to wash it down. In fact, you can choose any Lindt chocolate flavour (classic, hazelnut, Irish cream or dark mint) for your hot chocolate drink. There’s plenty of other chocolate treats on offer including ice cream in a waffle cone and milk shakes.
This really was a decadent treat, the chocolate was rich and extremely delicious! But one word of advice, this food is very filling, so don’t plan a heavy meal after it!
