TaleGate returns to Wantage
The show is from TaleGate Theatre Productions, whose return for 2026 was announced by Vale of White Horse District Council when pantomime came back to The Beacon in 2025.
Last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk followed a gap after Robin Hood in 2023. The Snow Queen continues that return of Christmas pantomime to the town, this time with a story built around Wantonia and its unending winter.
The council’s announcement identifies TaleGate as the company behind the returning pantomime.
Six performances before Christmas
The production combines pop songs, magic and puppets. It opens on Friday 18 December at 6.30pm.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December each have performances at 11am and 2.30pm. The final listed show is on Monday 21 December at 11am.
That provides a Friday evening option and four weekend daytime shows before the Monday finale. The venue lists the same £13 price for adult, child and wheelchair tickets.
