The Jackson family of The Avenue, Bloxham, are inviting the community to join them in celebrating the joy of Christmas with their spectacular outdoor light display, which has been delighting residents for over 20 years.
This much-loved Bloxham Christmas Lights tradition combines festive cheer with a heart-warming mission to support local charity B.A.R.K.S. (Banbury Animal Rescue and Kindness Service).
A Dazzling Display of Festive Fun
Over the past two decades, the Jackson’s have lovingly built up their collection of Christmas lights to create a display that captures the magic of the season. From reindeer, Santas, and snowmen to Santa on a swing, a rocket, and even the moon, the display is a true celebration of holiday creativity.
The house and garden are adorned with a dazzling array of lights, and visitors can even spot a waving Santa in the window. Each year, the display grows a little brighter, spreading joy to everyone who stops by.
Supporting a Cause Close to Their Hearts
The Jackson’s have always dedicated their display to raising funds for B.A.R.K.S., a local animal charity they hold dear. As a family of animal lovers, they are passionate about supporting the incredible work B.A.R.K.S. does to rescue and care for animals in need. Visitors are encouraged to donate to this worthy cause while enjoying the festive display. Every contribution helps make a difference in the lives of vulnerable animals.
Big Switch-On Event
Mark your calendars! The big switch-on event will take place on Saturday, 30th November at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities and experience the magic of the lights first hand. The Jackson’s promise an evening of festive cheer and a chance to celebrate the spirit of the season with neighbours, friends, and family.
