Ed Gamble in promotional artwork for the 2027 tour

Ed Gamble will bring his new stand-up show Fresh Hell to New Theatre Oxford on Sunday 7 March 2027.

The 7.30pm performance is part of an extensive UK and Ireland tour, following his previous show Hot Diggity Dog. Oxford audiences will see a solo stand-up set rather than a live recording of one of his podcasts.

What to expect from Fresh Hell

Gamble co-hosts Off Menu with James Acaster, interviewing guests about their dream meals. He also presents The Traitors: Uncloaked and Taskmaster The Podcast, alongside television work including Unacceptable.

Fresh Hell gives him a new collection of material to take around the country. The tour publicity promises his familiar exasperated delivery, while keeping the specific routines under wraps.

The Oxford date follows Norwich and comes before shows in Lincoln, Buxton and Chesterfield. Later in March he plays a run at the London Palladium before continuing to theatres around the UK.

For local fans who know him primarily through panel shows and podcasts, the theatre date offers a chance to see a full-length performance built around his own material.

Planning your visit

The New Theatre is on George Street in central Oxford. Check the seat location when booking, particularly if you need step-free access or space for a wheelchair. The venue’s booking and access information explains the available arrangements.
