Julian Clary in promotional artwork for the 2027 tour

Julian Clary will bring his new show Fully Dilated to New Theatre Oxford on Saturday 24 April 2027.

What to expect from Fully Dilated

The premise is an invitation to look behind the stage persona. In the tour announcement, Clary says he will share intimate stories and experiences that have shaped him, while questioning whether audiences will notice much difference between the public and private versions.

This is adult stand-up, with the Oxford venue flagging strong language and sexual references, alongside references to death and drugs. It is recommended for audiences aged 18 and over, and no children under 16 will be admitted.

The performance includes an interval. The venue also warns that some higher-level or restricted-view seats may not provide a full view of material displayed on the stage screens, which is worth checking before selecting seats.

Oxford is one of a substantial run of spring dates, between Brighton and Canterbury, with the tour continuing through May and into early June.

Planning your visit

The New Theatre is on George Street in central Oxford. Check the seat location when booking, particularly if you need step-free access or space for a wheelchair. The venue’s booking and access information explains the available arrangements.
