Meet the Easter Bunny, ride a vintage carousel, craft cards, and take part in an Easter treasure hunt – all in the heart of Oxford

Families in Oxfordshire are in for a treat this Easter as Westgate Oxford transforms into a springtime hub of fun, games, and festive cheer, with events running every day until Saturday 27th April.

Located at the vibrant Leiden Square, visitors can enjoy a mix of free and fun-filled activities, making it a perfect day out for families, kids, and anyone looking to get into the Easter spirit.

What’s On at Westgate Oxford This Easter?

Let little ones take a spin on the beautifully decorated vintage carousel, a nostalgic favourite for kids of all ages.

Walk on Water with Water Walkerz

Ever wanted to walk on water? Now you can! Climb inside a giant inflatable ball and float your way across a shallow pool — an exciting and unique activity for energetic children.

Churros and Seasonal Treats

Enjoy freshly-made churros and other Easter snacks from local vendors while soaking up the festive atmosphere.

Meet the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny will be making appearances at Westgate Oxford to hand out Easter eggs and pose for themed selfies. Find him on Leiden Square at the following times:

  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm
  • 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Free Easter Crafting Club

Join in some hands-on creativity with Westgate’s Easter Crafting Club, where children can make their own Easter cards. All materials are provided, and the event is free to attend.

Time: 11am – 5pm
Location: Guest Experience Pod (opposite JD Sports)

Easter Treasure Hunt

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April, families can take part in a fun Easter Treasure Hunt around the centre. Pick up a map from the Guest Experience Pod, find the hidden eggs, solve the Easter message and claim your prize.
