An exciting and interactive Christmas experience is coming to Oxford this December! Hurry Up Father Christmas! is the perfect festive treat for children aged 3 to 6, offering a fun-filled, immersive show at the 50-seat Burton Taylor Studio. The performance will run from Wednesday 4th December to Sunday 29th December 2024.
This year, young audiences are invited to join Ivy, an elf, and Mr Tick Tock, as they embark on an adventure in Father Christmas’ sleigh shed. The Burton Taylor Studio will be magically transformed into a snowy wonderland at the North Pole, filled with clocks, presents, and lots of snow globes.
The sleigh is all loaded and the elves are ready – but Father Christmas can’t find his keys, his glasses, or his boots! With Christmas Eve upon them, Ivy and Mr Tick Tock need the help of the audience to get the sleigh ready for its journey. Will Father Christmas make it on time? The excitement and festive fun build as little theatregoers help the team prepare for the big night.
