Alex Horne and his band will bring their new musical comedy show Six Absolute Helmets to New Theatre Oxford on 8 March 2027.
The Oxford performance is part of a UK tour combining live music with comedy. Audiences can expect new songs, jokes and choreography from the six-piece group.

What to expect from Six Absolute Helmets
Horne, the creator and co-host of Taskmaster, fronts the show alongside five professional musicians. The contrast between the band’s musical ability and its deliberately daft material is central to the act.
The group has made two series of The Horne Section TV Show for Channel 4 and also has its own podcast. Television appearances include The Last Leg and regular visits to Dictionary Corner on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
This is a new touring production, rather than a live edition of Taskmaster. The announced itinerary includes work-in-progress performances at The Albany in London in November 2026 and a warm-up in Hertford before the main 2027 dates.
Oxford falls between the February dates and a March run that also visits York, Hull, Ipswich and Exeter. The tour continues into July.
