World-renowned British polar explorer Jim McNeillis looking to fund one lucky individual from Southern inner cities on his next expedition.
Jim, who has worked with the Sir David Attenborough on Frozen Planet, is passionate about monitoring the pulse of planet, and helping those from ordinary and unprivileged backgrounds achieve the extraordinary – as he has done.
The Ocean Warrior Project #Resolute Expedition takes this to a new level, giving ten inner city would-be explorers across ten regions of the UK (including one from the South of England), the chance to be fully funded on this scientifically significant, Arctic waters ocean voyage.
Jim – based in Princetown, Devon – has an amazing personal story; he was brought up on a London council estate, became a fireman, worked for the Royal Household, and became an explorer. He has B-Roll footage, and is happy to travel to be interviewed.
All applicants need to apply before the end of February, so there is urgency to the story.
